Our annual CFG (Critical Friends Group) conference gives over 150 school leaders and lay leaders a forum to meet, share, and swap ideas and strategies with other day school leaders from around the country.
Over the course of two days, school leaders and lay leaders engage in sessions and activities that are designed to improve their practice through collaborative learning, sharing dilemmas of practice, and openly reflecting.
CFG is different than any other conference that you've been to. That's because CFG is participant driven and participant centered. This means that the conference design is not focused on sessions, keynote speakers, or breakout sessions. In fact, CFG’s trademark is very few formal sessions. CFG is all about giving school leaders the forum and the time to learn from each other. Research supports the fact that connecting with other leaders is critical for effective leadership and CFG provides a confidential and meaningful opportunity to do so.
