YU School Partnership, supported by a grant from the Jim Joseph Foundation, is pleased to begin accepting applications for the 3rd year of the online certificate programs for Jewish educators.

These programs are taught on a custom learning management system created to ensure the best possible learning experience for our particpants. Each online program is comprised of three courses of 10 weeks in length for a total certificate program duration of 30 weeks.

Upon completion of the course, each participant will receive 7 CEU's for their work.

DIFFERENTIATED INSTRUCTION


Our day schools cater to a diversity of students and learning needs. How can teachers meet more student needs more of the time? This course will help teachers master the knowledge, understanding, and skills related to Differentiated Instruction, including planning for, assessing and managing classrooms with diverse students. This course will be taught by Pirchie Greenspon, Melanie Eisen and Joe Hirsch.

 

EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION (EDTECH)


Effective strategies for using technology-enhanced learning is a key element in the professional development of any teacher. This course will help teachers develop and advance their skills in the design and implementation of technology-enhanced learning experiences. Click here for detailed course description.

This course will be taught by Dr. Eliezer Jones.

 

STUDENT SUPPORT

Teachers and staff are faced with the daunting task of supporting students in a variety of areas. These courses will provide techniques and strategies to successfully support students. Participants will learn about academic, behavioral, spiritual and social/emotional support.

This course will be guided by Dr. Scott Goldberg, Dr. Rona Novick, Dr. David Pelcovitz and Dr. Elana Weinberger and facilitated by leading experts in the field.

 

 

    EXPECTATIONS FOR THE CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
    Each Program is 30 weeks (10 weeks for each course)
    Please expect to spend approximately 2-3 hours a week, including readings and assignments.
    We expect a high level of commitment to this course.
