Lifelong learning is a hallmark of Jewish education. Educators, school professionals and lay leaders – working on behalf of Jewish day school students – gain from ongoing professional development. It inspires our self-reflection. It broadens our knowledge base. It allows us to raise the bar for excellence in Jewish education.

It is for this reason the YU School Partnership is dedicated to breaking down the barriers to collaboration, sharing and learning with educators from all over the world. To this end we have developed, and are continuing to develop, online Communities of Practice (CoP) for professionals in Jewish day schools. Below is a list of current CoP's that are available and forming.

YUTeach is an online community dedicated to the professional development and support of teachers, including veteran, new, and even prospective teachers. This community exists to channel a collective passion, while providing support, guidance and the necessary growth opportunities every teacher needs to succeed.

The goal is for members to ask questions, share ideas and resources, relate experiences and provide support for one another.

The community is also populated with an advisory board of a select group of YU faculty members, consultants, and veteran teachers who provide an experienced and expert opinion for the community when needed. Click here to join YUTeach.
